Osas’ respect and determination to hone her craft in performing is extremely important to her. Her commitment, ambition, and passion in all she pursues are what gives her the strength to know there is no limit to what she can achieve.
Osas Ighodaro was born and raised in the home of the New York Yankees – Bronx, New York. With her whole family from Nigeria she is proud to be apart of her families first American born generation. Being a Nigerian-American has taught her the importance of family, pride, and never forgetting where one comes from.
Osas graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and dual minor degrees in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. After graduation, Osas put her skills and degrees to good use. She starred in her first film as well as in an array of indie and short films. She proudly performed in the New York Fringe Festival. She also hosted a half hour TV. show which showcased the arts, politics, and issues of the African Diaspora. On top of all that, Osas even started her own business. With the future ahead of her she plans to bring her acting career to the next level and pursue her Master’s in Business and Performing Arts.
Osas’ interests besides spending time with family + friends and performing include traveling, meeting new people, and giving back to the community. She believes that a person’s time is purely a small token of appreciation towards others.
As a unionized actress, Osas has been performing since she was young and feels alive when given the opportunity to showcase her talents. Her work as an actress, dancer, journalist, entrepreneur, and volunteer not only makes her versatile and multi-talented but a well-rounded individual.
She is known to believe that the sky is the limit and anything one puts their mind to they can conquer. |
